Happy Easter!

Well today was Boston and Preston's first official Easter Egg Hunt. Gary bought them these cute elephant easter baskets a couple of days ago and they came with eggs in them. So, for the last few days are house has had easter eggs scattered all over the place but the boys had a little practice picking them up and putting them in the baskets. Then today we put the eggs out on the lawn for them to do the hunt. Preston went right to it picking up all the eggs. Boston was not quite sure at first. He just wanted to help Daddy take pictures. So once Gary started helping Boston and I was taking pictures Boston got into it. They had as much fun as they could have since they still don't really understand Easter and they didn't get to eat the candy that was in the eggs. Maybe next year. We want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and we hope that all is well for everyone.

I just thought Boston and Preston looked so cute in their new basketball outfits we got them. They were actually letting me take pictures of them as well. It has been such nice weather here that I actually broke out their shorts for them to wear. You've got to love Las Vegas as winter is already gone and spring has come.

Our Family

So Gary and I were looking at some of our friends blogs and then looking at ours. Ours is pretty sad. I can never think of things to write. Gary was complaining that the picture of him on there at Christmas was stupid (not that I look any better. Who does on Christmas morning?). So I decided I would post some better pictures. These were pictures we had done when Boston and Preston turned 1. I also thought I would use this post to tell a little bit about ourselves.
Gary and I met in 1998 when I moved to Provo, Utah, to go to UVSC. I started working at a grocery store called Day's Market. I was a checker and Gary was a manager there. It was love at first sight for me. I went home and told my roommates and friends that I had met the man I was going to marry. We were married February 18, 2000. We lived in Orem for a couple of years. Work got a little slow for Gary so in March of 2002 we went looking for jobs in Las Vegas. He was offered the first job he went into at Century Steel and has been working there ever since. It has been a great company and very good experience for him. I have worked at about 3 jobs since being here doing medical billing. I have liked them all but finally on October 6, 2006 I started the job I had been waiting for all my life. After years of struggle to become pregnant, I became a mother to two of the cutest boys i have ever seen, Boston and Preston Knudsen. Boston weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and Preston weighed 6 lbs 8 oz. I am still not sure how I carried the two of them for 37 weeks but I did and was so happy that they were big, happy and healthy boys. They have been so much fun to watch grow. It is so sad, as all of you with kids know, how quickly the time flys. Next month they will be 18 months! Gary and I just celebrated our 8th Anniversary. I can't believe we have been married that long. But we are still in love and love spending every moment we can together.
