Family Pictures

Well I know I haven't posted for awhile and I actually have a lot of other things I should post but I don't know if I will get around to it.
We have not been up to much, just enjoying Gary's time off before he has to start work. We are so blessed. Right after we moved up here Gary called a company that he had interviewed with back in December and they hired him right away. They needed him to wait to start on June 1st so he has just been hanging out with me and the boys and we sure have enjoyed our time with him. It will be kind of hard for us when he goes back to work. But we sure are glad he was able to find a job so quickly.
We recently got our pictures taken by a girl who used to live next door to Gary. They turned out so great. She is an awesome photographer if you ever need one. You should check out her photo blog www.heathertelfordsphotoblog.blogspot.com. Anyway here are a few of my favorites.

We made it to Utah

Well we made it here to Utah. We had a successful move and we have been setting up in Gary's parents basement. Gary has a lead on a job and as long as everything goes through he will be taking it. It is up in Brigham City which is just north of Salt Lake. So now that we have gotten settled we will have to pack it all up again to move up there. We are very excited and hope that it works out to be a good job. I did a few posts with pictures if you are interested in seeing a little of what we have been up to. I also have Easter pictures that I will post later but right now I keep getting an error so I am giving up.

Our last days as locals....

Before we moved we wanted to do something fun with the boys. They love the water shows and flower gardens at the Bellagio and the fish at Ceasars Palace so we headed up to the "Strip" and had some fun. Here are some pictures from our day.

My little photographer

Boston loves to get a hold of the camera and take pictures. Every now and then he gets some good one. We do end up with quite a few bad ones too. After he took some of these pictures he kept asking me to "put them on the net" which I guess means on my blog. I thought that was cute and kept telling him we would. I never got around to doing it with him but I am doing it now. So here are a few of the good pictures he has taken.

These next three pictures I thought were really good. He started out far away from the airplane and got closer and closer.

One night the boys were having fun jumping from the box to the ottoman. They wanted me to take their picture so here is a couple that I got.

We're Moving...

Well for those of you who have not heard, Gary got layed off last week and no longer has a job. Everyone knows how slow the construction and building industry has been lately so we kind of knew it was going to happen eventually. Well there are no jobs here in Las Vegas and very few anywhere for that matter, so we are going to move to Utah and live with Gary's parents for a little while until we can figure something out. Gary has had a few job leads there in Utah so we are hoping and praying that something will work out. We are very excited for this move in some ways but are also very sad to leave Las Vegas. Eight years ago when we moved here I never thought that I would say I would be sad to leave, but I am. I have loved it here. I have loved the people we have met, and the friends that we have made. I love the weather. I love the wards that we have been in. Oh and again I love the weather. That is one of the hardest things for me to leave. I do not want to live where it snows. Everyone keeps saying we will get used to it again but I don't think I will. But we will love being back closer to our families. That is one of the things I have missed the most being here. Not that we have been that far away but it is far enough that we don't always get to participate in all the family things we would like.
Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know a little bit of what is going on. We are not quite sure when we are going to leave but it will most likely be sometime in the next 2 weeks or so.
I will sure miss all of the friends that I have made here. They have been like my family away from my family. And if you are ever in Utah and have time to get together I would love to see you.

San Diego

Well Gary and I went to San Diego and had a wonderful time. It was so nice to get away and not have to worry about anything. No kids whining for things all day long. It was nice to have a normal conversation and not be interrupted. We didn't do a whole lot while we were there but it was so nice and relaxing. Here are some pictures of a few of the things we did.
We went and took a tour of an aircraft carrier that is there in the harbor.


Here is Gary on the aircraft carrier overlooking part of downtown, the ocean and the bridge that goes across to Coronodo.

We drove over to Corondo one day and walked around. Here were are looking back at downtown San Diego.

Then while were in Coronodo we drove down the beach a ways and were able to watch a beautiful sunset.

We had such a fun time. Thanks to Gary for planning everything and sweeping me away. I love ya and am so glad I married you 10 years ago.
Thanks again to my mom, my sister and nieces Rylee and Taylor for coming to watch the boys. They had so much fun and I don't think they even cared we were gone.
