4th of July-Utah trip.

Sorry I am playing catch up so this is kind of long and has a lot of pictures.
For the 4th of July we headed up to Provo to see Gary's family and go to a baseball game with my family. Then after Gary headed home the boys and I stayed and went to my parents for the week. We had such a good time. It was nice to be out of the super hot heat even though it was pretty warm there as well. The boys enjoyed playing outside pretty much non-stop and playing with their cousins Rylee and Taylor. Here are a few pictures of the fun times that we had.
The day before the 4th we went up and showed Boston and Preston Bridal Vale Falls, up the Provo Canyon. They are always seeing little fountains and talk about them as water falls so we thought we would show them a real one. This picture does not do the falls justice. It only got about half way up. They were so pretty and had so much water coming from them. The boys loved putting their feet in the freezing cold water there at the bottom.

On the 4th of July we went to the Provo Parade. The boys had so much fun seeing all the police motorcycles, the fire trucks, the floats, and most of all they loved hearing all the bands. Here is a picture of each them trying to get a better view.

The 4th of July is also my father-in-laws b-day. That evening we went to Tepanyaki. It is one of those places that cook your food right there at the table. Boston and Preston thought that was pretty fun and kept asking for more fire. Here is a picture of us with Gary's parents. Sean, Gary's brother, is missing from the picture, he took it for us.

That night we went and met my family at a baseball game, the Salt Lake Bees, where after I think about 14 innings and most of the kids being asleep they did fireworks for the 4th. The boys had been talking about going to the baseball game for weeks. They were so excited. I don't think they actually watched too much of the game but had fun playing with everybody there. We had quite the crowd with us. I think there were 18 of us which included 6 kids that were continually switching seats. But I think everyone had fun. Here is a picture of almost everyone, there are a few people who were sitting on the other side of me and a row down that I could not get in the piture.

Here is a picture of me and Preston and some of the players on the field.

Then we headed down to my parents house for the week. We did a lot of fun things while we were there. The boys love it there because they get to be outside pretty much all day. There are also a ton of animals at my parents house and the neighbors houses that they love getting to see. This time while we were there they got to see some sheep, a shetland pony and here baby, some baby ducks whose mother was a chicken because the eggs had been abandoned and somehow this chicken decided it would take care of them, and lots of dogs and cats. I did't get any pictures of them with the animals.
One day we went to the Lynndyl park and played on the caboose that is there. The boys loved getting to play on a real train.

Here is Boston, Taylor, Rylee and Preston cooling off in the pool.

One day we went to the Delta City Park and the kids had fun playing in the water.

For some reason Preston didn't really like the water so here is hanging out in the shade with Grandma.
One night we went up the Oak City Canyon to roast hot dogs for dinner. The kids had tons of fun throwing rocks in the creek.

Thanks to everyone for letting us come play and for the fun times that we had.
