While I was looking for the picture of our cabin I remembered we had these pictures of the boys. When we were on our way home Sunday we stopped in this little town outside of Zion's. This house just had these bulls, elk and buffalo in a field next to their house. You could pay a little money and buy food and feed them. I thought for sure that Boston and Preston would be scarred of them but look at these pictures and how close they got and they didn't even care.
Preston and my dad and cousin Rylee taking a look at the bull.

Boston feeding the bull.

I am glad the bull didn't try to eat Boston.

Preston looking at the Elk.

Me feeding the elk.

Boston chasing a chicken.

I think that this was the funnest part of the whole trip for the boys.

Zion Ponderosa

So this last weekend we went on a fun mini vacation to Zion Ponderosa. It is a new resort on the East side of Zion's Canyon. We for some reason didn't really take too many pictures so I am sad because we don't have any good ones of the boys. Anyway I am not really sure how to describe this place but they have a website that I will post at the end if anyone is interested in checking it out. If any of you are looking for a fun vacation that is not too far this is it. You have to like camping and the outdoors though because we spent the whole weekend outside. They have different options for lodging. My parents, sister and brother camped in tents. Gary and I are not so adventurous. We stayed in a little cabin. We were supposed to stay in what is called a cowboy cabin that just had bunk beds in it and you still had to go use the public restrooms and showers. But we got lucky and they had made a mistake on our reservation so we got to stay in a cowboy suite. It had a little bedroom with a queen bed. Then it had a couch with a fold out bed. It had a little kitchen with a sink, fridge and microwave. And most important to me it gave us our own bathroom. It was so nice and just the perfect size for our family. They also have huge houses that you can rent if you have more people and you don't want to camp in tents. Then they have a bunch of free stuff that we took advantage of. They had a really nice swimming pool, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a playground for the kids in viewing distance from all that so they can play and you can play at the same time, a little petting zoo. Saturday night they had a little free rodeo. It wasn't that great. They just did stuff on horses, but I think it was fun for the kids. Then they had stuff that you could pay for: a rock climbing wall, zip line, you could rent bikes and 4 wheelers, horse rides and a lot of other things. Of course you have all the beauty of Zions Canyon to go look at. We were not there long enough to go exploring or hiking but hopefully we can go again and try some of the other stuff. Anyway we had a good family vacation there. Thanks dad for finding this for us. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to do it again. For any of you reading this I would recommend it. Check out this website and decide for yourselves: www.zionponderosa.com. Sorry there are no pictures to show except this one of our cabin.
