Let It Snow!!

We finally got a little bit of snow today. I thought it was going to be a little bit more actually but this is our biggest snow storm yet. Which is so crazy since it is the end of January. Boston and Preston were pretty excited though. They have been wanting to build a snowman for awhile. Boston opened up the back window and got Preston. They both pulled up a chair to watch it snow. They both kept saying "I could watch this all day." I thought that was kind of cute. But when I asked if they wanted to get dressed up in their warm clothes they both declined. I don't blame them though. I am also perfectly happy to just watch from inside the nice warm house.

Christmas

On Christmas morning our family was actually the only ones at my parents house. It was kind of a nice quiet morning. We actually had to remind the boys that Santa had come and had to kind of coax them into going upstairs to look at the presents.
I think the boys had a fun morning though and got everything that they had wanted. I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures. I am so mad at myself though because I didn't get any pictures of us all dressed up for church. But here are a few from opening presents.

Boston and Preston had asked us for so many things that were not really a possibility, like: an I-phone, an I-pad (both of which their mommy doesn't even have so I don't know why they think they should), a Nintendo DS (which we already have one and don't need another) and many other outlandish requests. So they were finally talked into asking for fast RC cars that could do tricks. So this is what Santa brought and so far they have had a lot of fun with them.

They got these light sabers from grandma and grandpa Pace. These were their favorite toys that they got.

They also got some other really nice things from great-Grandma Mac and from Grandma and Grandpa Knudsen. We had such a wonderful Christmas and we are so thankful for all that we have. We are so thankful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and for all the blessings his life brings to ours.
We sure hope that all our friends and family had a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas Eve

We were able to go to my parents house for Christmas this year. Christmas Eve is kind of when my mom likes to do here big party. In Leamington they also have a Santa that comes to all of the houses on Christmas Eve. The kids were so excited and could not wait for Santa but we had no idea when he would show up. So they played a game. Erin had written some song lyrics and then they had to guess the next phrase. They had a lot of fun.

Santa finally showed up.

Santa also delivers a little present. Since Boston and Preston had already gotten Christmas PJ's they got this fun game.

That night my Aunt Cathy and her husband Larry and my Grandma were also there. I did not get any pictures with them. But it was so nice to have family there. We had a wonderful dinner and a really great night.

Pre-School Christmas Program

Boston and Preston had a little school program this year. They actually held it at one of the elementary schools here and had all the 4-5 year old preschool classed combined. Boston and Preston did so good. It was such an improvement from last year when not a single kid in the class sung. This year they both stood up on the stage and sang every song. I was so proud of them. My pictures didn't turn out very good because of the lighting on the stage but these are the best I could get.

They also had a special visit from Santa.

Oh Christmas Tree

Boston and Preston were so excited to get the Christmas decorations up this year. We had the house completely decorated before we left for Thanksgiving. I was a little reluctant to have it done before but it was so nice to come home from our Thanksgiving weekend and not have to worry about doing it.
The boys had so much fun decorating the tree. There were only a few spots I had to later fix but overall they did a great job.

I love how decorated our house is at Christmas. The rest of the year I feel like we are so plain and boring.

Cousins

This is Boston with his cousin Sam. Normally my boys don't want to have much to do with babies but this day Boston wanted to hold Sam and Sam sure seemed to love cuddling with Boston.
