San Diego

Well Gary and I went to San Diego and had a wonderful time. It was so nice to get away and not have to worry about anything. No kids whining for things all day long. It was nice to have a normal conversation and not be interrupted. We didn't do a whole lot while we were there but it was so nice and relaxing. Here are some pictures of a few of the things we did.
We went and took a tour of an aircraft carrier that is there in the harbor.

Here is Gary on the aircraft carrier overlooking part of downtown, the ocean and the bridge that goes across to Coronodo.

We drove over to Corondo one day and walked around. Here were are looking back at downtown San Diego.

Then while were in Coronodo we drove down the beach a ways and were able to watch a beautiful sunset.

We had such a fun time. Thanks to Gary for planning everything and sweeping me away. I love ya and am so glad I married you 10 years ago.
Thanks again to my mom, my sister and nieces Rylee and Taylor for coming to watch the boys. They had so much fun and I don't think they even cared we were gone.

Boston and Preston

I just thought I would add a couple pictures of Boston and Preston since I haven't posted any for awhile. I am sorry that once again they do not have clothes on, but no matter how hard I try they will not stay dressed, and I figure as long as we are just in our house who cares. Anyway, one night I was making dinner and Preston got out these pot holders. He stuck them on his feet and was walking around thinking he was so funny. So of course after Boston saw what he was doing he had to join in the fun as well.

Cute Boston wearing my hat.

Happy 10th Anniversary!!!

Tomorrow is mine and Gary's 10 Year Anniversary. I can't believe that it has been 10 years since we got married. It has gone by way too fast and now I feel like I am getting old. I remember when it seemed like really old people had been married for 10 years, but now here we are. This has been the best 10 years of my life. Gary is the best husband and father a girl could ask for.
For our anniversary Gary surprised me with a trip to San Diego. We are leaving tomorrow morning and coming back on Sunday. This is where we spent our honeymoon 10 years ago, so we are going back to recreate some of the magic. Gary planned everything and I had no idea what was happening. This afternoon I got a knock on the door and went to answer it. Someone had their finger over the peep hole so I was a little nervous at first to answer it because I thought I was being robbed or something. So I looked out the window and there was my mom's car. So I opened the door and there was my mom, my sister Erin, and her two daughters Rylee and Taylor. I was so shocked. I just kind of stood there not knowing what to say. And they couldn't say anything either because Gary had still not told me what was going on.
So later Gary got home from work and had wrapped up for me a new camera and plane tickets to San Diego. Crazy. I am so excited to get away. This is the first time in 3 years that we have left Boston and Preston with anyone overnight. But I am definetly excited for the break.
Thanks Gary for the wonderful surprise. I am so excited to spend some alone time with you and be able to talk with out two little guys interupting.
Thanks also for being such a good husband and father. You are so patient with me and I appreciate it.
I love you so much and can't wait for the next 10 years and forever.
