Santa Clause came to town...

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We decided to stay at our own home this year rather than travel to be with our families. It was a lot of fun and good to spend time just us and our boys.
On Christmas Eve we took the boys up to the Bellagio to see the flower garden and the water shows. They had been asking for months to see the water dancing so we thought it would be fun since they would be set to Christmas music. Here are some pictures.
Me, Boston, and Preston in front of a polar bear.

Gary and the boys in front of a snowman.

Gary and the Boys with an ornament and the big Christmas tree in the background.

Reindeer. I think they were made out of some kind of nuts. Not positive though because I didn't read what it was.

And the North Pole made out of flowers.

Boston and Preston's favorite part. The trains. We had to sit and watch these forever and could not leave without saying "goodbye."

The big Christmas tree.

Gary, Boston and Preston waiting for a water show to start.

We love to go to Bellagio. We hardly ever go up to the strip but when we do it it to go there and see the flowers and the water dancing. It is always so amazing to see what they can make with the flowers. The boys really enjoyed it.
We then went home and did a lesson on the true meaning of Christmas and gave the boys their new Christmas pj's. Which I did not get a picture of for some reason. But they loved them and loved how soft they were. Then off to bed to wait for Santa. They had a hard time falling asleep. Preston tried sneaking down about 10 times I think. Finally they fell asleep and Santa came.
Here we are in front of the Christmas Tree. Sorry about the naked boys. But I can not keep clothes on them to save my life when we are home. The minute we walk in the door their clothes are off.

Christmas morning.

Boston getting another present.

The aftermath.

Playing with their new remote control jeeps from Grandma and Grandpa Knudsen.

And their big gift from Santa. Their "blue breaker bikes" as they call them. My mom was asking if they got a bicycle from Santa and Preston corrected her saying "Not a bicycle, a blue breaker bike." They have not yet figured out how to ride them but they sure have had fun pushing them around the house.

We had such a good day. It was so fun to have them understand more about Christmas and be excited for Santa to come. They were so excited to leave Santa cookies and milk. We were out of carrots so I asked what they wanted to leave for the reindeer and Preston thought they would like cheese. So they left a couple of string cheeses for them. They were so excited the next morning when everything was eaten.
Boston and Preston got so many fun presents and have just been going from one to the other. Thanks to everyone who sent gifts to them and thanks to Santa for the bikes and other fun gifts.
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and will now have a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas!!!

We took the boys to see Santa today. They were having a free one at RC Willey so we figured we better go, you can't beat free. The commercial said to bring your camera but they had a guy there taking pictures as well and he handed us this free picture. Awesome. And best of all there was no line. We walked right up and the boys were able to sit down. No waiting.
We were not so sure how the boys would do this year. Boston has gotten to be really shy but when asked if he would sit on Santa's lap he would answer yes. The first couple of times I asked Preston if he would sit on Santa's lap he said "No, I just want to see him." I told him though if he sat on Santa's lap he would get candy so his answer immediately changed to "Yes". I still was not sure though that that would be enough to get him on his lap. Last year Preston would have nothing to do with Santa. He was really excited when we talked about Santa coming but the minute Santa got there he was shaking and crying and would not go near. Last year Boston went right up to Santa and got on his lap and then gave him a hug. So this year we have had a huge improvement for Preston. They both went right up to Santa and got on his lap. They both told Santa that they wanted a Blue Breaker Bike. I was so proud of them that they sat on his lap and told him exactly what they wanted. Here is the picture.

We just want to wish all our family and friends a Very Merry Christmas!!!
