Well for those of you who have not heard, Gary got layed off last week and no longer has a job. Everyone knows how slow the construction and building industry has been lately so we kind of knew it was going to happen eventually. Well there are no jobs here in Las Vegas and very few anywhere for that matter, so we are going to move to Utah and live with Gary's parents for a little while until we can figure something out. Gary has had a few job leads there in Utah so we are hoping and praying that something will work out. We are very excited for this move in some ways but are also very sad to leave Las Vegas. Eight years ago when we moved here I never thought that I would say I would be sad to leave, but I am. I have loved it here. I have loved the people we have met, and the friends that we have made. I love the weather. I love the wards that we have been in. Oh and again I love the weather. That is one of the hardest things for me to leave. I do not want to live where it snows. Everyone keeps saying we will get used to it again but I don't think I will. But we will love being back closer to our families. That is one of the things I have missed the most being here. Not that we have been that far away but it is far enough that we don't always get to participate in all the family things we would like.
Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know a little bit of what is going on. We are not quite sure when we are going to leave but it will most likely be sometime in the next 2 weeks or so.
I will sure miss all of the friends that I have made here. They have been like my family away from my family. And if you are ever in Utah and have time to get together I would love to see you.

Seriously, I think I'm going to cry. I hate to see you guys go. My kids will be so sad to see Boston and Preston gone. Man, I wish we would have hung out more these last couple of months. We will for sure miss you guys. Let me know if you need any help. I can watch your kids or what ever you need.
That really stinks about Gary's job. I'm sorry. You should look for a job in Boise! Then we could hang out all the time. I bet your families are excited to have you back though.
Moving is so tough! I'm sorry about Gary's job, that stinks! It will be nice to move closer to your families though. Jaren and I hope to do that someday, it will be hard for me to leave Cali though too. But I think I miss family more than I'd ever miss the beach. (Don't you miss the snow even a little?? :) Good luck with the move and I hope things fall into place for you guys in Utah!

Kelly your post made me cry! So sorry to see you move! Lets all get together for dinner before you go! I will miss you. Your a great friend and amazing person. We will keep in touch but its still sad to see you go. Seriously we need to plan a dinner!

I agree with Kelli, come to Boise we would love to have you here! There are 2 houses across the street in our neighborhood. I hope all goes well and you are in my prayers. Love ya.

I wish we could come to Boise. That would be fun, but I have not seen any jobs listed there either. Maybe someday when the economy picks up, there will be more jobs.
We will all miss you! I know we don't get to see each other much anymore but when we do it's so fun. Our girls nights just won't be the same without you! I agree with Tyree, we should do a dinner or just hang out one last time. (and btw you won't miss the july/august heat-just think about that on those nice summer utah nights).
So sad about his job but not sad to have you back close! We'll have to get together. I'll keep my ears open for jobs for Gary!
