Zion's Ponderosa

We just got back from a fun weekend down by Zion's Canyon. We went again to a fun resort that we visited 2 years ago called Zion Ponderosa. We went with my family and we all had a great time. The last time we went Gary, me and the boys stayed in a small cabin but this year we decided to tough it out and camp for the weekend. I don't want my boys to grow up never camping and then not want to do it when they are older. So even though I would have much preferred the cabin we stayed in the tent. The boys loved it so I am so glad that we decided to do that. We bought them some little sleeping bags and they were so excited to use them. Preston picked a Buzz Lightyear one and Boston choose a Lightning McQueen one. They carried them around the house for about 2 days anticipating the night they got to sleep in it. Here is a picture of them at the house before we left. Once we got to Zion's Ponderosa we pretty much spent every day in the swimming pool. I really wanted to go and check out some of the cool hikes in Zion's Canyon but we never even left the resort, we were having too much fun there. Here is some of the pictures from our time there. Boston hanging out with daddy. Boston and Grandpa Pace They had a fun miniature golf course and if Boston and Preston had had their way this is what they would have spent their day doing. They had so much fun and would hurry to get their ball in the hole and then run on to the next one. Gary and I had a hard time keeping up. On Saturday night they do a little rodeo. It isn't much but the kids had fun. Also on Saturday night they had a Barn Dance. Here the Boston, Preston Rylee Taylor and Uncle Jon are enjoying the music.


Well we sure had fun. Thanks mom and dad for everything. And everyone else it was fun to get to hang out and play for the weekend.
