Let it Snow! .....

Let it Snow!... Let it Snow!....This morning when we woke up it was looking a little ominous outside. I thought it was just going to start raining but at about 7:30 I looked out the window and saw snow. So far this is what it looks like and it hasn't stopped yet.

Crazy that it is snowing here in Las Vegas. This however is not the first time we have seen snow here. We have lived here for about 7 years and I think we have had one day with a little snow every year. But never like this during the daytime. In years past we have only woke up to snow that fell during the night and then by the time the sun came out it always turned to rain. Well this snow started after the sun came up so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts until it turns to rain. The boys have loved watching it out the window. Maybe later if I decide to brave the cold I will let them go out and play in it. We will see though I am usually not that nice when it comes to the cold and snow. That is one of the things I have loved about being out of Utah is not having to deal with the snow every winter. But I guess I can handle it for a day or so. The one nice thing about it though is it does make it feel a little more like Christmas. We will actually have to wear a coat. We have still been in short sleeves.

This is one last picture that Gary took this afternoon after it had snowed all day. Right now it has pretty much stopped but I think we are supposed to get somemore over the next few days.

I was going to make a post about the same thing. I didn't believe Jaelyn when she told me that it was snowing. I said yeah on the TV. Actually, I can't believe that it is still snowing.

I'm jealous! I miss the snow, it just doesn't feel like Christmas without it. But, I am happy that I am able to visit the snow instead of having to deal with the snow, ice, and cold weather all winter long:)

You guys got a bit more than we did. Usually our side of town gets more then the north (which makes no sense to me). My kids had a blast today too. And you're right - it makes it feel more like christmas. But i love that we just get to enjoy it once a year and not all winter long!!!

You got even more than we did!!! I bet the boys loved seeing it. I remember how excited our boys got at that age when it would snow. The house sure looks pretty!

I couldn't believe it, I had to scroll back to the top to make sure I was really looking at your blog. I can't believe it snowed and that much. It was been snowing here like crazy but we expect that. Teagen absolutely loves it. We even tried to go out and shovel the driveway, don't think I'll do that again.
