Easter Weekend

We had such a fun Easter weekend. We started out in Leamington at my parents house. The boys had so much fun there. They got to see a lot of cows, horses, goats, and even some pigs. We went to the sand dunes. Boston had so much fun there. He would climb to the top of the hill and then slide down on his bottom. Preston did not like it so much. I took his shoes off and the minute his feet touched the sand he started freaking out. So he left early with grandma and Aunt Erin.
Here is Boston and Rylee coming down the sand dune.

Then we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and colored some Easter eggs. Boston and Preston had fun but they still didn't quite understand. Boston kept cracking the eggs on the table. They would also just stick their egg in any color and then plop it into another one.

On Saturday morning we went to the town Easter egg hunt in Lynndyl. It was rainy and cold so the boys didn't really like it too much. They just kind of stood there shivering. So we picked up some candy for them and left. We then headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Knudsens house. Laurie, Jack, Ty, Connor and Sage were there. It was so fun to get to see them and play with them. It was a rainy day so we decided to go bowling. This was the first time Boston and Preston have gone bowling. They had so much fun. Preston would wait for his turn every time. He would roll the ball and then jump up and down yelling "I did it! I did it!" Preston would also cheer for every one as they went. He was so excited for every turn that each person took. He would jump and cheer for them. It was so cute. Boston had fun too. He didn't like the fact though that he had to wait for his turn. He could not get enough of it. Gary pretty much had to hold him down until his turn.
Here is a picture at the bowling alley.

After we went bowling we went to the BYU Creamery for some ice cream.
He is everyone deciding what they wanted.

Here is Connor and Tyler enjoying their ice cream and Preston looking on jealously as he was not lucky enough to get any.

We then headed back to the house and had dinner. Sean and Teagan, and Uncle Paul came over and we had a fun night full of dancing. Uncle Jack was the DJ and all the kids had fun dancing.
Here is Preston busting a move.

And here is Boston dancing with Grandma.

I am not quite sure what Boston is doing here but you can see Uncle Paul dancing in the background.

Here is Boston with his cousing Connor. Boston had so much fun with Connor. He would follow him everywhere and Connor was so nice to play with Boston and share his Easter toys with him.

This is the best picture I could get with all of the kids.
Teagan is the one that is upside down, Sage, Boston, Connor, Preston and Tyler on the back of the couch.

On Sunday the boys got their Easter baskets. They got some candy, books, and a football. That afternoon we had an egg hunt for the kids. Boston and Preston enjoyed this one a lot more since it was such a nice day. They still didn't really get what they were doing though so they needed a little help. Here they are looking for eggs.

Thanks everyone for the fun time. It was so good to see everyone that was there.

O man I miss you guys so much! It looks like it was so much fun and the boys are just growing up too quick. Next time we come to St. George we should meet up.

What fun memories. Thanks again for making the trip up to see us. We sure appreciate you and Gary's desire to make a point to see us when we are in town. IT's getting so much fun now that the cousins are interacting more and more!!! :)

It looks like you guys had a fun weekend. It was fun to see you and your boys for a minute at the egg hunt. We have the same problem with Shane when we go bowling, I practically have to sit on him to pin him down until it's his turn again. Fun times:)

I can't believe that was their first time bowling! I thought they would be old pro's by now, just like their mom! Remember the phase we had where we went bowling all of the time? Except you got really good and I think I kept getting worse.
